YO:Durham is dedicated to serving the needs of at risk youth in Durham, NC. With our Year of Opportunity programs—including Summer Career Academy, mentoring teams, internships, and service learning—we seek to:

  • Increase rates of high school graduation

  • Increase enrollment in post-secondary education

  • Improve workplace preparedness

  • Avoid involvement in the criminal justice system
